Miles Partnership Acquires Leading Tourism Storytelling Agency, Odyssey Storyworks

Miles Adds Regional Office in Dallas, Texas, and Expands National Presence and Capabilities

DALLAS, TEXAS (August 2018) – Miles Partnership, a leading tourism marketing consultancy, announced today that it has acquired Odyssey Storyworks, a Dallas-based digital storytelling and content marketing agency. Odyssey, with expertise in literary storytelling, filmmaking and social-first marketing, was founded by tourism marketing veterans Steve Atkins and Ryan Thompson. Underwritten by Atkins and created to fulfill deeper and more authentic storytelling, Odyssey serves tourism, hospitality and lifestyle brand clients.

Odyssey provides Miles Partnership with expanded expertise in content marketing and storytelling, with an office in Dallas’ historic West End district. Odyssey will remain an independent business unit and brand of Miles, serving its legacy clients while integrating to expand service expertise to Miles’ roster of international clients. The two firms began integrated operations in July 2018.

Ryan Thompson, founder and CEO of Odyssey, joins Miles Partnership as Senior Vice President and will provide expertise in strategy, brand management and oversight of a portfolio of accounts including the Odyssey business unit in Texas.
